K.G.F: Chapter 1 is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language period action film written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale films. It is the first instalment in the two-part series, followed by K.G.F: Chapter 2. It was released in Kannada and in dubbed versions of Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages the following day, and received positive response from audiences.

Kirik Party is a 2016 Indian Kannada Language campus romantic comedy film directed by Rishab Shetty, and produced by G. S. Guptha and Rakshit Shetty. It stars Rakshit Shetty, Rashmika Mandanna, Samyuktha Hegde, Aravinnd Iyer, Dhananjay Ranjan and Pramod Shetty in prominent roles. Rakshit wrote the story of the film and also co-wrote the script along with a team "The Seven odds" apart from playing a protagonist.

Mungaru Male is a 2006 Indian Kannada-language musical romantic drama film co-written and directed by Yogaraj Bhat. It stars Ganesh, Pooja Gandhi and Anant Nag in lead roles. The film is believed to have shaped and strengthened the careers of Ganesh, Pooja Gandhi, director Yograj Bhat, lyricist Jayant Kaikini, choreographers A. Harsha, Imran Sardaria, composer Mano Murthy and others in Kannada cinema, and made Bollywood playback singers Sonu Nigam, Kunal Ganjawala, Udit Narayan, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal popular in the state.
It was the first film in India (for any language) to be screened continuously for over one year in a multiplex, and holds the record for the longest-running film at a multiplex in addition to having the highest recorded box-office collections in history of Kannada cinema and went on to become a national record in Indian cinema for running one year in PVR cinemas. It became the first Kannada film to cross the ₹50 crore box office collection mark.

4) RangiTaranga
RangiTaranga is a 2015 Indian Kannada language mystery thriller film written and directed by Anup Bhandari in his debut. It features debutantes Nirup Bhandari, Radhika Chetan, Avantika Shetty and Saikumar in the lead roles.
Anup Bhandari said that in writing story for the film, he took inspiration from "Dennana Dennana", a track that featured as the theme song in the 1990s Kannada television soap Guddada Bhoota. In addition to directing the film, Bhandari also scored for its soundtrack, also penning its lyrics. It featured cinematography by US-based cinematographers Lance Kaplan and William David, the former of who, had previously collaborated with Bhandari on a short film.
